Spirit on Fire - Art Print
This art print is of an artwork I did titled “Spirit on Fire.” Initially, it started as an experimental charcoal drawing of a dove and it didn’t turn out how I was hoping, but I kept pushing and the flames began to form. The rest of the drawing came naturally after that. This piece represents the Holy Spirit as a flaming dove and was my attempt at modern Christian art. It is my hope I can return art to more of a Rennaisance style, filled with passion, inspiration, and love, and I think this piece was a step in that direction.
The religious art of old had so much life, spirit, and intention with how it was made, and was easy to feel the spirit of God represented in the art. I often try to put that same spirit into my artwork, and wanted this piece of Holy Spirit Art to embody that. I hope this art print can be a valuable piece to any art collection, or would make a great Christian art gift. “Spirit on Fire” is a piece in the new wave of Modern Christian art and I am very happy with how ths Holy Spirit art turned out and hope you will be too.
